Where will the PBIA Summit be held?

The summit will be hosted at the beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, Michigan.

What are the dates of the PBIA Summit at Crystal Mountain Resort?

The PBIA Summit will take place from September 9th to July 11th, 2026. We strongly encourage arriving on September 8th in case of any flight cancellations or delays.

Can I bring my family to the summit?

Yes. We encourage attendees to bring their families. Crystal Mountain Resort offers family-friendly activities and amenities.

What is the agenda for the PBIA Summit?

The summit agenda will feature inspiring keynotes, educational sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. A detailed agenda will be released in Spring 2026.

Are there any special activities planned for families during the summit?

Absolutely! While you’re attending summit sessions, your family can enjoy various activities at Crystal Mountain Resort, including hiking, biking, a water park, golf, and more.

What does my conference registration include?

Conference registration provides each attendee with a badge that grants access to scheduled meals, networking events, business seminars, exhibits and any other events listed on the agenda. Attendees will also receive educational materials, and email updates.

What types of payment are accepted for the registration fee?

Our online registration system accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

What do I do with my registration confirmation email?

Keep your confirmation email as a record of your registration. Your confirmation email contains your confirmation number and the link to reserve your hotel room at Crystal Mountain Michigan. We suggest you book your room as soon as possible, as the room block will sell out early.

What will I do if I do not receive a registration confirmation email?

Please check both your junk and spam folders, as well as logging into your company quarantined email.

Be sure to add the PBIA Summit to your safe senders list to insure you receive all Summit updates. To request your confirmation email be resent, contact us at info@acobs.org.

How do I pick up my badge?

Badges can be picked up at the Summit registration desk located in the Crystal Center. Refer to the agenda for specific times and map for exact location onsite. A government-issued photo ID is required to pick up your badge. On-site registration fees will apply for lost/replacement badges.

Can someone pick up my badge for me?

No. Each attendee must pick up their own badge with government-issued photo ID.

Are badges required for all functions?

Yes. Badges must be displayed at all times and are required for entry to sessions, exhibits and all scheduled networking events. Persons without an official Pharmacy Benefit Summit badge will be turned away by security.

Are family members badge available?

Yes. On-site registration will be available for family members to attend meals and receptions. Your spouse may register on-site during open registration hours. Also, your spouse can attend exhibits.

Is there a one-day badge or guest badge?

Only full conference badges are available. No special rates for daily attendance or guest badges are offered. To view the registration fees, visit the Registration page.

Is there an Exhibit only badge?

No, an exhibit-only badge is not available. All booth staff must be registered for the conference in full, regardless of their role and whether or not they are attending other conference functions. Persons without an official Summit badge will be turned away by security. To register, visit the Registration page.

Can I attend as a member of the press or media?

Press or media wishing to attend must submit credentials and request advanced approval by contacting info@acobs.org prior to completing the online registration form.

Can I book additional nights at the resort?

Yes, You can book additional nights before or after the summit, subject to availability.

Are there special rates for the hotel?

Yes. Special discounted room rates and resort fees are available exclusively to registered attendees. Visit the Hotel & Travel page for more information.

How do I book a hotel room at Crystal Mountain Michigan Ski, Golf & Spa Resort?

The hotel room block is for registered attendees only. “Hotel Only” is not an option. To book your room, you must be a registered attendee. Upon completing registration, you will receive a registration confirmation email including a link to book your hotel. We recommend booking your hotel as soon as possible, as the discounted room block will sell out early. Availability cannot be guaranteed. Rates may vary based on availability at the time of booking. Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?

No. Transportation and hotel costs are the responsibility of each attendee.

Is the venue compliant with ADA accessibility guidelines?

Yes, Crystal Mountain Michigan is compliant with ADA accessibility guidelines.

What is the closest airport to Crystal Mountain Resort?

The closest commercial airports include Manistee County Blacker Airport (26 miles or 31-minute Uber ride to the hotel) and Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport (31 miles or 43-minute Uber ride to the hotel). Alert your driver which hotel you are staying in, as there are several nearby.

When will the detailed agenda be released?

The agenda will be released in Spring 2026.

Will CE credits be available for attendees?

Yes, CE credits will be available to all registered attendees with the CPBS track add-on. To earn CE credits, you must submit the Capstone Project and pass the CPBS Final Exam. CE credits will be awarded by each individual CE provider for the respective session attended.

Will speaker presentations be available?

Presentations will be available after the conference at the speakers’ discretion and accessible to registered attendees. You will receive an email with presentation link after the conference.

Is there a dress code for the summit?

The dress code is business casual. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for any outdoor activities you plan to enjoy.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. You must be 21 years old to attend all summit events or book a room at the resort.

Will meals be provided during the summit?

Yes. Meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided. Crystal Mountain Michigan offers award-winning restaurants to enhance your Summit experience. Check out dining options and make reservations early!

Are special dietary meals available?

Yes, special dietary meals are available upon request. Contact us for assistance after you have completed your registration.

Will there be Wi-Fi at the Summit?

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available to registered attendees throughout the Crystal Mountain conference center where the Summit is taking place. Wi-Fi is also available in hotel rooms with the resort fee.

I rolled over my registration from 2025. What do I need to do to confirm the rollover?

By rolling over, you have locked in your registration fee at 2026 pricing. You will receive a confirmation email, confirming your rollover. No action is required by you at this time. The next step is to reserve your hotel room by clicking on the link in your registration confirmation email.

What are the award categories for the PBIA Excellence Awards?

The PBIA Excellence Awards have several categories, including Excellence in Innovation, Outstanding Leadership in Pharmacy Benefit Management, Excellence in Patient Care and Outcomes, and Emerging Leader in Pharmacy Benefit Management.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I am unable to attend?

Yes, you can transfer your registration to another individual. Please contact info@acobs.org for assistance with the transfer process.

You will receive regular email updates leading up to the summit, and any important notifications will be communicated via email and our official summit website.
